About This Opportunity

The Boulton MySydney Scholarship is an undergraduate scholarship valued at $8,500 per annum, designed to support domestic students from low socio-economic areas. The scholarship aims to address educational disadvantage experienced by people living in areas affected by socio-economic disadvantage, by facilitating and supporting their participation in University of Sydney undergraduate courses (except for those in the Faculty of Medicine and Health). The scholarship is awarded to eligible students with the highest Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) who applied through the Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) and resided in areas listed in the bottom 25 percent of the Australian Bureau of Statistics Socio-Economic Index for Areas (SEIFA) Index of Education and Occupation (IEO). Recipients receive financial support for up to 5 years, along with additional benefits including university preparation support, USU membership, access to global mobility awards up to $5,000, eligibility for accommodation scholarships, and access to alumni and industry mentoring programs in their final year.
