About this opportunity
The Brockhouse Canada Prize for Interdisciplinary Research in Science and Engineering recognizes highly collaborative Canadian teams of researchers from different disciplines who came together to engage in research drawing on their combined knowledge and skills, and produced a record of excellent achievements in the natural sciences or engineering. This prize honors teams that have combined their expertise to produce achievements of outstanding significance in the natural sciences or engineering. NSERC recognizes that achieving a more equitable, diverse and inclusive Canadian research enterprise is essential to creating the excellent, innovative and impactful research necessary to advance knowledge and understanding. The prize evaluates nominations based on the significance, novelty and impact of achievements, quality of contribution to training and mentoring of highly qualified personnel in a collaborative and interdisciplinary setting, and excellence of the interdisciplinary team including the complementarity of the team members' expertise.
