About this opportunity

This scholarship was established by alum Joseph Cancellieri in 2011 to provide financial assistance to support a freshman nursing student in financial need. Joseph Cancellieri received his nursing degree from UMass Amherst and is a decorated Navy veteran. The scholarship is designed to help incoming nursing students at the University of Massachusetts Amherst who demonstrate financial need.
