About this opportunity
Two awards valued at $4,000 each are presented annually to excellent full-time graduate students in the Faculty of Arts at the University of Waterloo, who conduct research on German language, culture, history, and/or society. This fund is made possible by a donation from Cecilia Piller. Eligible students can apply by submitting a CV and a one-page research project proposal. Applicants must also arrange for a letter of support from a UW faculty member. Submissions are adjudicated by the Waterloo Centre for German Studies Executive Committee based on the merit of the research project proposal and its contribution to the mandate of the Centre as well as the student's record of graduate study and research.
