About this opportunity
The Chancellor's Fund is a fund provided by the University of Northampton that offers financial support to current students for activities that enhance their education, employability, and social impact. The fund provides awards of up to £750 to successful applicants. Eligible activities include training and research opportunities such as conferences or training that enhance education or employability, extracurricular activities involving volunteering or sport with clear and positive social impact, and student projects that are new and innovative with opportunities for social impact. Applications are reviewed by a panel that considers whether the application meets the criteria, the quality of the application including presentation and communication of proposed activity and costs, the potential impact of the award on the student, university, or wider community, and the supporting statement provided. The fund cannot be used to cover tuition fees, accommodation costs, commuting expenses, or costs for study trips or placements that form part of the course curriculum.
