The Chinese Studies Alumni Bursary

This scholarship supports Chinese studies students to undertake approved studies in China or Taiwan, and Chinese partner university students to undertake Chinese studies at the University of Sydney. The bursary has been established to assist students studying Chinese at the University of Sydney to undertake a period of approved in-country study, preferably through the University of Sydney exchange program. The scholarship has been generously donated by alumni of Chinese Studies at the University of Sydney. Recipients are selected based on academic merit and a personal statement describing their motivation and current plans for study. Preference may be given to students enrolled in intermediate or advanced Chinese-language-acquisition units, those seeking support for Honours in Chinese Studies, students on University of Sydney Exchange programs, and those in financial need.
