About this opportunity
Cork University Business School (CUBS) has benefited from a philanthropic donation to support one fully funded doctoral scholarship to be awarded in 2025 in the area of women, entrepreneurship and technology. The scholarship is open to both Home/EU and international students and will cover fees (EU/non-EU) and a monthly stipend for a 4-year period. Applicants are invited to submit an application on one of four specific research projects related to women in technology entrepreneurship, covering topics such as women founders in tech, women technopreneurs in agri-food, identity work and power dynamics, and economic outcomes. The successful candidate will be expected to actively contribute to scholarly activities including conference presentations and submissions to high-impact peer-reviewed journals, and complete annual progress reviews in line with UCC Graduate Studies Committee policy.
