About This Opportunity

The Data Lab has secured funding from the Scottish Funding Council to support a limited number of fully-funded taught Master's places at Robert Gordon University. This scholarship program aims to develop the data science talent and skills required by industry in Scotland. The funding covers full tuition fees, training, and event participation for selected postgraduate programs in data science, business analytics, and information technology with business intelligence. A total of 13 places are available across three specialized Master's courses. The scholarship provides comprehensive support for students pursuing careers in data science and related fields. With 5 places available for MSc Data Science, 4 places for MSc Information Technology with Business Intelligence, and 4 places for MSc Business Analytics, the program is designed to address Scotland's need for skilled professionals in data-driven industries. Eligible applicants must meet Scottish Funding Council 'home' fee criteria and have been ordinarily resident in Scotland (not in full-time education) for three years prior to course start. EU students with settled or pre-settled status may also be eligible. Students must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for one of the three eligible Master's programs and have the right to live and work in the UK. Selected applicants will be invited to complete an application form reviewed by The Data Lab academic team. The scholarship provides an excellent opportunity for Scottish-domiciled students to gain advanced qualifications in high-demand fields without tuition cost barriers.
