The David Eade International Piano Scholarship

The David Eade International Piano Scholarship assists in the education and training of international classical piano undergraduate students at the New Zealand School of Music. This scholarship was established in 2023 through a bequest from David Philps Eade to assist classical pianists studying at the New Zealand School of Music. The scholarship provides $40,000 to cover stipend and other activities related to piano studies. Recipients must demonstrate engagement and contribute to the community and environment of the New Zealand School of Music through participation in ensembles, presentations, or performances. The recipient will also be expected to perform in a concert honoring the memory of David P Eade.
