About This Opportunity

The Dean's Excellence Scholarship (Executive MBA) is a tuition fee scholarship established in 2019 by the University of Sydney Business School to promote academic excellence within the Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) degree. This scholarship provides 20% of tuition fees for the full-time duration of the recipient's Executive MBA program at the University of Sydney Business School. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit, leadership potential, personal integrity, performance in the selection interview, and motivation to succeed in business in a socially responsible way. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to apply the learning offered in the Executive MBA degree to making a positive difference to professional life in business practice. No separate application is required as eligible students are automatically considered during the admissions process. To maintain the scholarship, recipients must achieve a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester, remain enrolled in 24 credit points of study each semester, and have no outstanding tuition fees. Current EMBA students and University of Sydney employees are not eligible. The scholarship is subject to availability of funds and is not transferable or deferrable. Recipients may only suspend their studies due to exceptional circumstances with approval from the Director of the Executive MBA Program.
