About this opportunity
KPMG Ireland has established the Deirdre O'Sullivan Memorial Prize in Accounting to honour the memory of Deirdre O'Sullivan, a graduate of UCC, who qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG and who sadly passed away in September 2011. The prize is awarded annually to the Master of Accounting student who receives the highest final aggregate mark on the programme at their first attempt. The prize includes a monetary award of €1,000 and a medal. In the event of a tie involving two or more qualified students, the aggregate marks accumulated up to and including the Summer examinations only will be used to determine the overall winner. This memorial prize recognizes academic excellence in accounting studies at the postgraduate level at University College Cork.
