The DPO Centre Charity and Community Fund

The DPO Centre Charity and Community Fund provides access to data protection consultancy services at an 80% funded rate for UK-based charities and not-for-profit organizations. Throughout their years of working with charities and NFPs, The DPO Centre fully appreciates that every penny counts and all available resources need to be focused on the cause. However, charities and NFPs need access to expert advice and guidance to ensure they run efficiently and remain compliant with the law. The fund's purpose is to enable worthy causes to access expert data protection services with the least effect on their ability to fund their core purpose. The DPO Centre has set aside an annual £50,000 funding pot with one funding round per year. Eligible charities can apply for up to £10,000 of funding towards consultancy services including information asset register and data mapping, policy drafting and review, impact assessments and gap analysis, data protection training, data sharing and international transfers, privacy-by-design, and data protection readiness assessments.
