The Drs. Buski - Lakhani International Travel Bursaries

The Drs. Buski - Lakhani International Travel Bursaries are offered by the Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield and named in honor of two distinguished Rotarians. Dr. Julius Buski is an educator, past President of the Rotary Club of Edmonton Mayfield and past District Governor. Dr. Zaheer Lakhani is a distinguished cardiologist, a Member of the Order of Canada and recipient of the prestigious Rotary International 'Service above Self' award. The bursaries enable post-secondary students to participate in hands-on projects within their field of studies in a developing country. A maximum of five awards of at least $1,200 each will be presented every year. Priority will be given to applicants who have not previously received this award and applicants with a connection to Rotary International (e.g. through participation in Rotaract or Interact clubs).
