The Edgar & Fairie Halsey Memorial Scholarship

The Edgar & Fairie Halsey Memorial Scholarship was first offered at graduation in 1992 and is awarded annually to recognize outstanding academic achievement in the Bachelor of Social Work degree program at Booth University College. This scholarship is awarded to the second-year student who achieves the highest overall average in the Bachelor of Social Work degree program. Both classroom achievement and fieldwork skills are essential aspects for consideration when determining the recipient. The scholarship provides $200 to be applied directly to third-year tuition fees at Booth University College, supporting continued education and recognizing excellence in social work studies.
