About this opportunity
The Elie and Rose Zalusky Ukrainian Language Scholarship fulfills Mr. and Mrs. Zalusky's wishes that the Ukrainian language continues to flourish and is passed on from one generation to the next. This scholarship is awarded annually to an undergraduate or graduate student who demonstrates involvement in the Ukrainian community promoting Ukrainian culture through various activities including dance, music, sport, visual arts, theatre, film, writing, education, business, or most importantly, language. Recipients must be registered in a minimum of six credit hours in the semester the award is presented, be accepted as a fully-qualified graduate student, and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 80%. The scholarship supports students who actively contribute to preserving and promoting Ukrainian language and cultural heritage in their communities.
