The Elite Grant

The Elite Grant is targeted at the professional elite, whose production conditions and costs are significantly higher than other projects, but where the project has the potential to increase Danish rights income and exports significantly to the benefit of the Danish music industry in general. The goal of the grant is also to keep rights within the Danish rights collection system. The grant supports larger and longer-term projects that can take a music creator's career to the next level, such as major international pushes through travel or promotional work, or increased activity in the Danish market. Applicants must be Koda members who have earned at least DKK 150,000 in Koda income over the last three years, or demonstrate involvement in a project targeting broader commercial markets with a release in the pipeline. Grants typically range between DKK 50,000 and DKK 150,000 and support most project-related expenses except general operating costs or per diem expenses.
