The London Community Foundation Original Source

About This Opportunity

The Ellerdale Trust Grant Programme is a new funding partnership between the Ellerdale Trust and The London Community Foundation. The programme provides one-year grants of between £5,000 and £20,000 to organisations working with children and young people in specific London boroughs. The fund supports children's development in their early years, mainly up to age 10 with a limit of age 18, and focuses on vulnerable populations including children who have been abused, brain damaged children, terminally ill children, children requiring mobility equipment, and children experiencing disadvantage due to living in areas with high levels of deprivation. The programme also supports holidays or breaks for carers and children, addresses mental illness causes and relief, and helps children and families suffering from life-threatening illness or bereavement. Organizations must deliver services in one or more of eight specific London boroughs: Barking and Dagenham, Brent, Camden, Hounslow, Newham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets, or Westminster.
