The Exchange Arts Scholarships

The Exchange Arts Scholarships are awarded annually to local high school and college students interested in pursuing higher education in the visual and performing arts. The Exchange is one of Sarasota and Manatee counties' largest scholarship providers, offering 10-20 awards each year to support students' educational goals and career aspirations in the arts. Applicants must be residents of Sarasota or Manatee County in Florida and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0. The scholarships are both need-based and merit-based, requiring students to submit an application with a 300-word personal essay, two letters of recommendation from faculty members or mentors, official transcripts, and proof of residency. The scholarship is renewable through annual reapplication, allowing students to receive continued support throughout their college education. Relatives of The Exchange board members, employees, and their families are not eligible to apply.
