About this opportunity

The FDC Group Scholarships support up to two students participating in the MSc Sustainable Development, Agri-Food and Co-operatives program at University College Cork. These scholarships are designed to encourage talented students to pursue postgraduate education in sustainable development within the agri-food sector and cooperative systems. Successful applicants must complete the placement element of the MSc programme with the FDC Group, providing practical experience alongside academic study. Applicants must hold a minimum Second Class Honours Grade 1 in an approved primary degree or equivalent and must have already applied for, received an offer, and accepted a place on the MSc Sustainable Development, Agri-Food and Co-operatives program at UCC. The scholarship is open exclusively to EU and UK students. The application process requires submission through an official MS Form that includes personal details, qualifications, and a personal statement addressing important issues facing Rural Ireland and strategies to address them, as well as outlining the applicant's contribution to rural development, academic background, achievements, and career aspirations. Applicants must provide at least two references, one academic and one professional.
