The Flora Hamilton Burns Fellowship

The Flora Hamilton Burns Fellowship is a fellowship donated by Flora Hamilton Burns in memory of Emily Carr, awarded to an academically outstanding graduate student in the Department of Art History & Visual Studies at the University of Victoria. The award is assigned based on nominations from the academic unit rather than direct student applications. Approval of the recipient is made by the Faculty of Graduate Studies Graduate Awards Committee upon the recommendation of the Department of Art History and Visual Studies. The minimum requirement for consideration is normally an A- average, and recipients must be full-time graduate students maintaining a minimum level of academic standing.
