About This Opportunity

The Foundation Blanceflor aims to promote international exchange for Italian or Swedish citizens within scientific research and education by granting individual scholarships for studies or research abroad. The Foundation yearly distributes approximately 2 million SEK in total funding. Two types of scholarships are granted: Long-Term Scholarships providing full financing up to 400,000 SEK per year (renewable for a second year only), and Short-Term Scholarships for study/research periods not longer than 4 months abroad. The stipend contributes to covering personal expenses in connection to studies or research, but institutional costs are not allowed. Studies or research must be conducted abroad in one of the following countries: Canada, Germany, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, United Kingdom, or USA. The scholarships are available for PhD candidates and younger post-docs within five years of disputation in the fields of Medicine/Life Science, Natural Sciences, or Technique.
