About this opportunity
The Fr PJ McGuire Scholarship supports students of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent studying at The University of Notre Dame Australia. The scholarship provides $2,500 in total financial support for one year, with a preference for Kimberley students studying at the Broome, Fremantle, or Sydney Campus. To be eligible, applicants must identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, be recognised by their community, and be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an Undergraduate, Postgraduate or VET course at Notre Dame Australia. Students must be undertaking their studies internally and demonstrate that their educational opportunities are limited due to adverse circumstances. The scholarship is awarded based on financial need, personal circumstances including preference for permanent home address in the Kimberley Region of Western Australia, and personal qualities and motivation.
