About this opportunity
The Frank and Marion Spence Scholarship provides financial assistance to outstanding postgraduate research students conducting research in paediatric cardiology or cancer at the Faculty of Medicine and Health, University of Sydney. This scholarship was established in 2017 from a bequest from Marion Anne Isobel Hamilton McMahon Spence. The scholarship offers a unique opportunity for Masters by Research or PhD candidates to pursue advanced research in these critical areas of pediatric health. Recipients receive a stipend allowance equivalent to the University of Sydney Research Training Program (RTP) rate for the duration of their research degree, with preference given to PhD applicants.
