About this opportunity
The Gabrielle Gouch Scholarship is designed to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander undergraduate students pursuing studies in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney. This scholarship specifically targets second-year undergraduate students majoring in mathematics, physics, chemistry, medical science, climate science, or bio-chemistry/genetic engineering. The scholarship provides approximately $1200 total over a two-year period to assist Indigenous students in continuing their science education. Students must be enrolled full-time and have completed a minimum of 48 credit points. Recipients must be identified as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander persons as defined by the University of Sydney's identity confirmation policy. This opportunity is part of broader efforts to support Indigenous students in STEM fields and cannot be combined with the Extended Bachelor Program Scholarship.
