About This Opportunity
The Gaelic Books Council offers a full scholarship for the University of Stirling MLitt Publishing Studies for the academic year 2025-26, awarded to a student with fluent written and spoken Scottish Gaelic. The scholarship includes placement opportunities in the Gaelic publishing industry and requires the student to complete a dissertation or digital project on a topic relevant to the Gaelic publishing industry. The scholarship covers Home/EU course fees (£9,500 in 2025-26) and a travel and subsistence bursary of up to £2,000. This is a full-year course beginning on 22 September 2025, taught in person on the University of Stirling campus. The award may be combined with other awards, including merit scholarships or University of Stirling graduate discounts.
