The Gent-Rust Scholarship

The Gent-Rust Scholarship provides a cash award of £8,000 for new postgraduate students studying selected MSc degree courses at Royal Holloway, University of London. Two scholarships are available annually to full or part-time students from the UK. The scholarships are funded by Mr and Mrs Gent to recognise and promote academic achievement, alleviate financial need, and promote activity of benefit to society as a whole. The scholarship is intended for students who would not have the means to undertake their proposed course of study without this financial support. Applicants must demonstrate a strong previous academic background (achieved or on target to achieve a 2:1 degree or higher), and considerable importance is attached to activities and aspirations outside the field of study that contribute to society.
