The Gerald Westheimer Quartet Program

This scholarship provides support to students studying chamber music in the form of a string quartet at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship is funded by a donation from Gerald Westheimer and is designed to support students in studying chamber music specifically as a string quartet. The program supports both undergraduate and postgraduate students enrolled full-time at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and stipulated in the scholarship offer letter. Applicants must be members of a string quartet and enrolled or have an unconditional offer to study in a coursework or research degree at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music.
