About This Opportunity
In memory of the late Mr Gerard O'Keeffe, Solicitor, formerly of Kanturk, Co. Cork, Mr Niall O'Keeffe has agreed to provide an annual sum of €1,000 for the provision of The Gerard O'Keeffe Memorial Prize. This prize is awarded to recognize outstanding academic achievement in Law of Torts at University College Cork. The prize-winner's name will be engraved on The Gerard O'Keeffe Memorial Prize plaque, located in the School of Law. The prize is awarded to the student who obtains, at his/her first attempt at the relevant examinations, the highest overall mark when the marks achieved in the examinations in Law of Torts I (LW1106) and Law of Torts II (LW1107) are combined. Only current UCC students are eligible for this prize.
