About this opportunity
This scholarship was established in 2012 by a bequest from Gertrude Lord to assist medical students in the University of Sydney School of Medicine. The scholarship provides financial support to Doctor of Medicine students who can demonstrate financial need and academic achievement. The scholarship is valued at $15,000 per annum and is tenable for up to four years, supporting students throughout their medical studies. Preference is given to applicants of Australian Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander identity. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship.
