"The Grappler" Bob Burmeister Wrestling Scholarship Fund

The Grappler Bob Burmeister Wrestling Scholarship Fund was created to provide scholarship support for graduating seniors, or past graduates, of Penn Trafford High School who participated on the wrestling team during the senior year of high school. This single-year award of approximately $2,500 is designed to support former Penn Trafford wrestlers as they pursue higher education at accredited vocational, technical trade schools, or 2- or 4-year colleges or universities. Previous recipients are encouraged to re-apply in consecutive years. Preference is given to students who are considering wrestling at the collegiate level for at least one semester or who are currently wrestling. Applicants must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and must have been a member of the Penn Trafford High School wrestling team during their senior year.
