About this opportunity
Established in 2019, this Scholarship has been generously donated by Michael and Suzanne Gregg to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students undertaking studies in Music at the University of Sydney. The scholarship is specifically designed to support Indigenous students enrolled in coursework degrees at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship is valued at $20,000 and is tenable for one year only, paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Selection is based on academic merit and a personal statement, with preference given to applicants who demonstrate financial need, such as those receiving Centrelink payments. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 65 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship.
