The Hamilton Club Award in Health

The Hamilton Club Award in Health is a scholarship offered by the University of Waikato for students undertaking a degree programme in a health-related area which includes a clinical placement. This award provides financial support to students enrolled in health-related programs such as midwifery, pharmacy, nursing, and psychology. The scholarship is available for both full-time and part-time students at any level of study, including undergraduate and postgraduate (taught and research) programs. There are two rounds annually with application deadlines of 31 January for A Trimester placements and 31 May for B Trimester clinical placements. Previous recipients are eligible to apply again if they have passed all previous clinical placements while holding the award.
