About this opportunity

The Harold and Gwenneth Harris Endowment for Medical Humanities Scholarship supports special programs and events in the medical humanities at the University of Sydney. This scholarship is available to both domestic and international students who are enrolled full-time in any Faculty or University School. Applicants must propose projects that align with Health and Medical Humanities and are separate from their normal coursework or existing research required for degree completion. Collaborative group applications are also eligible. The scholarship was established in 2024 through a generous donation by the USA Foundation from Dr Rhonda L. Soricelli to honour the memory of her parents, Harold and Gwenneth Harris. Recipients are expected to complete progress reports, financial expense acquittals, final deliverables, and present at a Showcase event.
