The Heaton Fund

The Heaton Fund aims to support communities in Herefordshire through charitable organizations active in specific fields including musical development and performance (with particular focus on choral music and brass bands), care for the elderly, palliative care, support for people with cancer and their families, conservation and preservation of the natural environment, education, and organizations that support ex-members of the armed forces, their widows, widowers and children. Where appropriate, support will be considered for individuals in relation to the field of music. Organizations or activities that fall outside of these fields may be considered at the discretion of the donor. Applications are considered on an ongoing, rolling basis, meaning applicants can apply at any time during the year. The average grant award in 2024-25 was £2,000.
