The Hedges Scholarship

The Hedges Scholarship is funded through a bequest from a former member of staff, Beatrice Hedges, to support students studying Education at De Montfort University. The scholarship provides £3,000 per year of study and is available to students enrolled in Education Studies, Education Studies with Languages, or Education Studies with Psychology undergraduate degree programmes. To be eligible, students must be home/fee paying UK students with a household income of up to £50,000, demonstrating financial need and eligibility for means-tested support from Student Finance. The scholarship is paid in instalments once per term and continues throughout the duration of study provided students maintain attendance and engagement requirements.
