About This Opportunity

The Holligrave Scholarship provides financial support to undergraduate students in the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College London. This scholarship is designed to support high-achieving students from lower-income households who have been assessed for financial support through Student Finance England or equivalent funding authority. The award provides a cash bursary of £2,000 per academic year for a maximum of 4 years, excluding repeat periods of study. Three scholarships are available for students starting in the 2026/2027 academic year. Successful scholars are expected to meet informally with the donors on occasions and submit a short statement of progress each year. Continuation of the scholarship is subject to the scholar maintaining satisfactory academic progress as defined by Imperial College London.

Review process

Departments within the Faculty of Engineering will assess academic merit from predicted A-Level results and UCAS application forms. Applicants will be ranked by Departments and the final selection from the shortlist will be made by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering.
