The Hugh C. Rawls Award

The Hugh C. Rawls Award is a scholarship for full-time junior or senior students at Eastern Illinois University majoring in Biological Sciences-Pre-Medical Studies or Biological Sciences-Animal Systems. Recipients must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate participation in community or university activities. Financial need is not a primary consideration but may be used as a tiebreaker when two or more students are otherwise equally qualified. The award is announced in the spring and distributed in the fall semester. Recipients are eligible to receive this award only one time.
