The Inlaks-Drama School Mumbai Theatre Studentship

The Inlaks-Drama School Mumbai Theatre Studentship supports talented theatre professionals pursuing a post-graduate certificate course in acting and theatre making at Drama School Mumbai. The program combines acting, scriptwriting, performance-making (including storytelling, direction, devising, and design), and entrepreneurial skills, offering a comprehensive and dynamic approach to enhance an artiste's career in the dramatic arts. The studentship is offered to those who have secured admission to Drama School Mumbai through their selection process. It provides financial support up to INR 200,000 for the one-year program. Drama School Mumbai was founded in 2013 to forge a new generation of theatre-makers as actor-creator-entrepreneurs professionally trained to perform and create work to a higher global standard of storytelling. The curriculum is designed with best practices from institutions around the world and delivered by faculty comprising the best theatre practitioners - actors, playwrights, directors, theatre designers and producers, all with formal training or extensive experience. Alumni are highly active in founding theatre groups, acting in award-winning plays, working in films, and applying their craft in education and corporate training.
