The Institution of Civil Engineers Prize is an annual award instituted in 1972 to recognize academic excellence in civil engineering education at Queen's University Belfast. This prestigious prize is awarded to the Stage 4 Civil Engineering student who demonstrates the best overall performance during the last two years of a JBM-accredited civil engineering degree program. The prize consists of a monetary award of £250 along with a Certificate of Merit, recognizing outstanding academic achievement in civil engineering studies. The award is made by the Institution of Civil Engineers based on the recommendation of the Head of Civil Engineering in consultation with the Undergraduate Board of Examiners. To be eligible for this prize, students must be enrolled as Stage 4 Civil Engineering students at Queen's University Belfast and must be student members of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
