The Jean and Ray Blencowe Scholarship

The Jean and Ray Blencowe Scholarship supports the top achieving student in the Higher School Certificate (HSC) to study a Bachelor of Veterinary Biology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney. This scholarship was established in 2003 from a bequest by Ray Leslie Wright Blencowe. The scholarship is automatically awarded based on students' ATAR scores without requiring a separate application. Recipients must achieve the highest aggregate score in the HSC or equivalent examination and enroll full-time in the eligible veterinary program in the following year. The scholarship is tenable for one year and is paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester.
