About this opportunity
The Durham Inspired Joel Donovan KC Law Scholarship provides financial support for UK Black Heritage students pursuing undergraduate study at Durham Law School. The scholarship was established by alumnus Joel Donovan KC to support Durham Law School's mission of social mobility and social inclusion. It aims to attract and enable young scholars to meet their aspirations by removing economic obstacles that may stand in their way. The scholarship specifically supports students of Black Heritage - African, Caribbean, Dual or Mixed Heritage backgrounds who have been educated at state-maintained UK schools and whose household income is below £47,200. Recipients must be commencing LLB Law studies at Durham Law School and have Home student fee status. The scholarship provides £5,000 per year for three years of undergraduate study.
