About this opportunity
This scholarship was established in 2020 to provide assistance to students studying vocal teaching and repertoire at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. The scholarship was donated by Elizabeth Todd in memory of her parents John Holt Todd and Florence Todd. The scholarship is available to both undergraduate and postgraduate (coursework and research) students enrolled full-time at the Conservatorium who are between 20 and 45 years old. The scholarship value and duration are determined by the Dean of the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and stipulated in the scholarship offer letter. Part of the scholarship funds must be used by recipients to gain admission to Opera and Concert performances unless otherwise directed. Selection is based on academic merit, portfolio and/or performance, and for postgraduate research applicants, research achievements and potential. Preference is given to Australian citizens.
