Award made by the Extern Examiner in Surgery based on highest marks obtained in Clinical Surgery at the Final Medical Examination
Restrictions
- Must be current UCC student for three years immediately preceding examination
- Must take whole Final Medical Examination for first time
- Must not have passed Third University Examination in Medicine more than three years before Final Medical Examination (with exceptions for BSc or approved non-medical studies)
- Must achieve sufficiently high standard as determined by Academic Council
