About this opportunity
This bursary supports Central Alberta residents who graduated from an Alberta high school within the last three years and are entering their first year of post-secondary education at Red Deer Polytechnic. The program is specifically designed to provide access for youth who face significant financial barriers and have demonstrated the ability to overcome obstacles and adversity. The bursary is renewable for up to four consecutive years of study for students who maintain a GPA of 2.0, demonstrate continued financial need, and show an ongoing commitment to work with a mentor throughout their program. Recipients must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons entering their first post-secondary program with a minimum high school average of 62%. This funding opportunity is made possible through a generous donation from the Joyce Family Foundation, which is committed to supporting students facing financial challenges and helping them succeed in their educational pursuits.
