About this opportunity
This scholarship supports a Sydney Dental School student to research into implantology. Established in 2016 by Mrs Judith and Dr Mario Adamo, this scholarship aims to encourage research in implant dentistry to further understand issues associated with implantology including osseointegration, stability and retention of implants, and reduce implant failure and infections. The scholarship is valued at $6,000 per annum and is tenable for one year, paid in two equal instalments after the census date of each semester. Recipients must maintain a minimum Semester Average Mark (SAM) of 50 each semester to continue receiving the scholarship. The scholarship is awarded based on academic merit and a personal statement demonstrating an interest in implantology.
