About this opportunity
The Kambala Teacher Education Scholarship has been established to offer students a unique opportunity to work at a leading Independent School within the Greater Sydney area. The Scholarship will be awarded to a student with an excellent academic record who will contribute to the curricular and co-curricular life within the School. Recipients must be enrolled full-time in their final year of eligible teaching degrees at the University of Sydney's School of Education and Social Work. The scholarship provides financial support while students complete an internship at Kambala School, where they will receive guidance from a mentor teacher and participate in academic, pastoral, and co-curricular activities. Students must have relevant certifications including a valid Working with Children Check, First Aid and CPR qualification, and must commit to spending time at the school throughout their final year including an unpaid internship placement. This unique opportunity combines financial support with practical teaching experience at an independent school in Greater Sydney.
