The King-Platt Fellowship

The King-Platt Fellowship is awarded by the University of Victoria to graduate students in biology. Two fellowships may be awarded annually, with preference given to students whose work bears on the ecology of birds. The fellowship provides $13,000 in support to full-time graduate students. No application is required as awards are assigned based on nominations from eligible academic units. Normally, the minimum requirement for consideration is an A- average and any additional criteria that has been established by the donor. Recipients must maintain ongoing funding requirements including a minimum level of academic standing and some ongoing maintenance activities.
