About this opportunity
The Leicestershire and Rutland Freemasons' Charity have generously funded a scholarship for students from Leicestershire and Rutland studying Footwear Design BA (Hons) at De Montfort University. The scholarship provides financial support for students from low income backgrounds through an award of £3,000 per year. The scholarship is intended to honour historic links and reflects the Leicestershire and Rutland Freemasons' commitment to supporting the craft of Footwear Design in Britain. Students must be first-year undergraduates permanently residing in Leicestershire or Rutland, be home/fee paying students with a household income of up to and including £50,000, and hold no other form of donor or university funded scholarship. The scholarship is paid in instalments once per term, and recipients must maintain attendance and provide progress updates in October, January, and May.
