About this opportunity
The LF Foundation supports a wide range of charitable projects primarily in St Helens, with close surrounding areas in Knowsley also considered. The fund focuses on supporting families in hardship and children's educational development where financial hardship is a barrier. Projects should address either education and training for children and young people, or the prevention and relief of poverty. Examples of fundable projects include money management support sessions, projects offering advice to people at risk of homelessness, hunger relief initiatives such as food banks and food pantries, crisis support services, projects helping young people learn new skills and gain qualifications, and activities for families who would not normally be able to engage due to financial barriers. Grants of up to £5,000 are available to support these community-focused initiatives.
