About this opportunity
This Scholarship supports students studying a Masters in Indigenous Language Education (MILE) at the University of Sydney. Established in 2023, the scholarship is funded by a donation from Lisa McNeice to support students enrolled in the Masters in Indigenous Language Education program within the Sydney School of Education and Social Work. The award is valued at $1,000 and is paid as a one-off payment after the applicable census date. Selection is based on academic merit from the first semester in the Masters program and a short personal statement (approximately 300 words) describing efforts and contributions to language learning, teaching and revitalisation in the applicant's local community and school.
